And now, Elyse Sewell gets coined. Accidentally. Oops.

I hadn't realized this practice originated in China. In the US, it is probably most common among Vietnamese immigrants, but it's found throughout all people from SE Asia. I've always heard it called 'coining'. The marks are quite distinctive. I probably see it once or twice a year in patients.
