tightropegirl in expressing her hope that the new Journeyman TV show is not going to suck says here
I love that they leave the audience to connect the dots, and don't assume we need special-ed classes for every plot point. Because, trust me, try writing science fiction in this town -- nine places out of ten, if it's not a cliché, they think you're doing it wrong. And the Journeyman narrative violates one of the main things people expect of television relationships (though I won't tell you what).
And this, kids, is why so much SF in movies and on TV sucks so badly.

Also, read her disquisition on how to pee at the Emmys. Riveting and vital.

meaning: be confused

枠組 == wakugumi == (noun) frame, framework
窓枠 == madowaku == (noun) window frame, sash

Note the lack of an ON reading: this is one of the rare kanji made by Japanese, rather than borrowed from Han China. Left radical is 'wood' (木). The right radical originally represented a wooden framework for twisting threads into rope. Henshall suggests taking right radical as 'nine' (九) and ten (十), and as a mnemonic: 'Frame made of nineteen pieces of wood.'
