  • Mood:

A fax which showed up in my ER recently.

I was trying to think of how a non-verbal person could impersonate Richard Nixon.

meaning: unite, join

併合 == heigou == (noun) merge, join into one, annexation, absorption
併発 == heihatsu == (noun which can take する to act as a verb) concurrence, coincidence, complication [in illness]

Left radical is a radical form of 'person' (人). Right radical is a Non-General Use character meaning 'put together'. Henshall suggests taking the right radical as 'out of' (八), a variant of 'well' (井), and as a mnemonic: 'Unite to get person out of well.'
