But beware, brave warrior, there are rules in the forest. Do you know what they are, I wonder?

meaning: [burial] mound

古墳 == kofun == (noun) tumulus, burial mound of ancient Japan
墳墓 == funbo == (noun) grave, tomb

Left radical is 'earth/ground' (土). Right radical, a Non-General Use character, is here used phonetically to express 'swelling'. 'Swelling earth' means a burial mound. Henshall suggests taking the right radical as three 'tens' (十), and 'shell/money' (貝), and as a mnemonic: 'Thirty shells found in earth of burial mound.'
