Why are there idiot-savant pianists, chess players, and calendar calculators, but no idiot-savant romance novelists, pastry chefs, or cat burglars?

The other day a Toyota Matrix passed me, followed closely by a Toyota Highlander. Then a Toyota Evil Dead, a Toyota Reanimator, a Toyota Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, a Toyota Seventh Seal, and a Toyota Last Year at Marienbad.

See, it's all about the long tail. I'd actually buy a Toyota Last Year at Marienbad, and I'll bet there are at least seven other car owners in American who would, too.

Where's LCRW No. 18 with my story in it? mroctober read it days ago, and I haven't even seen it.

ko(u), u(keru)

meaning:  request, undertake

要請== yousei == (noun that can take する to act as a verb) claim, demand, request, application
強請 ==  kyousei == (noun) blackmail, extortion, persistent demand

Left radical is 'word/speak' (言). Right radical is 'green/blue' (青), which here acts phonetically to express 'audience'. This character originally meant 'person requesting an audience', and has since come to mean 'request' generally. Henshall suggests as a mnemonic: 'Express request in blue words.'
