Vexillology:  the scholarly study of flags. Coined around 1957 by Dr. Whitney Smith, a prominent vexillologist. Wikipedia article. The Fédération Internationale des Associations Vexillologiques has, of course, its own flag. It incorporates a knot which does not look very strong to me.

uruo(u), uruo(su)
meaning: moisten, enrich

利潤 == rujun == (noun) profit, returns
潤滑油 == junkatsuyu == (noun) lubricating oil

Left radical is a radical form of 'water'. Right radical is a Non-General Use character meaning 'intercalated', composed of 'gate/doorway' (門) and 'king' (王), which acts phonetically to express 'wet'. Thus, 'to make wet with water'. 'Enrich' is a related meaning Henshall suggests as a mnemonic: 'King at gate moistened with enriching water.'
