Behold the labradoodle.

I had never heard of this, uh, breed, until a few days ago. It's a cross between a Labrador retriever and a standard poodle, combining the worst features of both.

I mean seriously. Have you ever seen such a homely dog? There's something familiar about this dog. We had dogs like this when I was a kid. They resulted when Lady Dog got out of the house and did the wild thing with Mr. Canis familiaris, var. Lothario.

This is a mutt, folks.

meaning: gun

短銃 == tanjuu == (noun) handgun, revolver
銃殺 == juusatsu == (noun which can take する to act as a verb) death by shooting

Left radical is 'metal' (金). Right radical is 'fill' (充), acting phonetically to express 'hole'. This character originally stood for the hole in a metal axe head. It seems to have been applied to firearms by reference to the boring/'hole' of the barrel. Henshall suggests as a mnemonic: 'Gun is filled with metal.'
