ko(mu), ko(meru)
meaning: put in, be crowded

話し込む == hanashikomu == (verb) to be deep in talk
立て込む == tatekomu == (verb) to be crowded, to be busy

Left/outer radical is 'movement'. Inner radical is 'enter/put in' (入). This is an unusual 'made in Japan' character which does not exist in Chinese: note the lack of an ON reading. Henshall suggests as a mnemonic: 'It becomes crowded as people move to enter.'
