meaning: good, right

便宜 == bengi == (noun, adjective that takes な) convenience, accommodation, advantage, expedience
宜しく == yorushiku == (adjective, interjection) well, properly, suitably, best regards, please remember me

Bottom radical is 'furthermore/cairn/pile up' (且). Top radical is 'roof/building'. Old forms of this character show that it was originally a pictograph of meat on an altar. Sacrifice to the gods is, of course, an example of proper and good behavior, and thus came the current meaning of the character. Henshall suggests as a mnemonic: 'Furthermore, good building is right for sacrifice.'
