|Left radical is one of the radical forms of 'heart/feelings'. Right radical is a character only found in Chinese meaning 'conceal/carry in sleeve'. Together they seem to mean 'feelings carried in bosom', i.e., a yearning or fondness. The bottom portion of the right radical is 'clothing' (衣). Henshall suggests taking the top portion as a 'ten' (十), 'four' (四), and as a mnemonic: 'Yearning feeling for fourteen sets of clothing.'|
