TEN

meaning: expand, spread

展示会 == tenjikai == (noun) exhibition
親展 == shinten == (noun) confidential

The upper/left radical is 'slumped figure/buttocks'. This character originally depicted a person sitting on a spread-out piece of cloth; now it means spread/exhibit in a more general sense. Henshall suggests taking the middle radical as 'grass', the bottom portion as a 'short' version of 'clothes' (衣), and as a mnemonic: 'Slumped figure in shorts spread out on grass.'
