There's a strangelet cannon mentioned in the story I'm current writing, and I decided I needed to know a little more about strangelets. So I found this, which led me to this.

So the earth may have been struck, twice, in 1993, by strangelet 'meteors'. Something, perhaps an angel a mass of strange matter hit Antarctica with the force of a couple of kilotons of TNT, apparently blasted through the earth in 26 seconds, and exited from the Indian Ocean. Speed, about 900,000 mph.

Antartica? 1993 would have been right about the time Anno Hideaki was developing Evangelion, wouldn't it? Hm.

Damn, there's some weird stuff out there.

meaning: state, relate

述語 == jutsugo == predicate
叙述 == jojutsu == description

Left radical is 'movement'. Henshall suggests taking the right radical as a 'funny' tree (木), and as a mnemonic: 'State how one moved around funny tree.'
