Write what you know.

I think I have 'Ing disease'. Damn. But you know, acknowledging you have a problem is the first step to overcoming it.

Running through the door, shaking with the force of this epiphany, he leaped onto the platform, grabbed the microphone and said, "My name's Slithy, and I am an ing-er."

"You also have Not Simultaneous disease," said a voice from the audience.

btw, robotazalea told me I had ing disease three years ago. unfortunately, I think I still have it. overcoming it will be a lifelong struggle.

KEN

meaning: investigate

検討 == kentou == enquiry, study, scrutiny, investigation
探検 == tanken == exploration, expedition

Left radical is 'wood' (木), right radical is 'synthesized opinion', acting phonetically to express 'store safely', and also meaning 'examine'. Thus, 'examine wood': records were once kept on wooden tablets. Henshall suggests taking the top part of the right radical as a 'cap', and the bottom part as a variant of 'elder brother' (兄),  and as a mnemonic: 'Elder brother investigates wooden cover.'
