Although I'm enjoying using NoteTab as a text editor, its spellchecker needs to get out more. I had to teach it that both 'picaresque' and 'limn' were legit English words.
Update on my cold: still present. Not much better.
|Originally a pictograph of 'child', (子) and a 'short thread', indicating a very small child, i.e., grandchild. The 'short thread' was eventually replaced with the radical for 'joined threads/lineage' (糸) Henshall suggests as a mnemonic: 'Descendants are grandchildren in thread-like lineage.'|
