Last night in my ER:
Patient 1's wife died a year ago this December. Her birthday was yesterday. Patient became depressed, took Percocet, drank alcohol, took Ativan, smoked reefer, went to wife's grave, and slashed wrists. Ineffectually. Picked up by cops in graveyard.
Patient 2 came to US from Cambodia four months ago. Did okay. Sent for wife. Wife refused to come to US. Patient became depressed and drank alcohol. Doesn't drink much, and only a little was enough to put him away. Brought to ER by medics for public intoxication and acting goofy. Sobered up fast.
Women. Living or dead they bring us grief.
Ducks have a way of dealing with these frustrations.
Homosexual necrophiliac duck rape. Worksafe. No, really. Sort of, that is. Uh, mostly, I think. As much as homosexual necrophiliac duck rape can ever be.
|Originally a pictograph of one hand holding another arm, i.e., one person grasping another in a fight. Henshall suggests taking the top part as a 'bent person', and the rest as a hand holding a stick, and as a mnemonic: 'Vie with bent old man, stick in hand.'|
