I went to the ophthalmologist today for my biyearly eye exam, and he dilated my pupils. Now everything is too bright and all blurry and I can't see squat. I looked in the mirror, and I look like some kind of human-frog hybrid. More than usual, I mean.

Getting your eyes dilated basically renders you useless for any purpose for the rest of the day. So, goodnight.

Elsewhere in the news, a link to my post on the Britney/Madonna mutual tonsil massage and Bush kissing his dog got posted to b3ta newsletter. Hilarity ensued.

meaning: recite, preach
合唱 == gasshou == chorus
三重唱 == sanjuushou == vocal trio

Left radical is 'mouth/say' (口), right is a non-General Use character meaning 'bright' or 'intense', comprising two 'sun/day' (日) radicals, which acts phonetically to express 'raised'. Thus this character means 'to speak in a raised/intense voice'. Henshall suggests as a mnemonic: 'Preacher's mouth recites for two days.'
