Thought for a Sunshiny Morning

Thought for a Sunshiny Morning
It costs me never a stab nor squirm
To tread by chance upon a worm.
"Aha, my little dear," I say,
"Your clan will pay me back one day."
Dorothy Parker, 1893–1967

I really love Dorothy Parker, although she can be cloying if you read too much of her all at once. I think I'll start including her verse in my journal entries now and then. She's really entertainingly morbid. </font>
