LJ loves Sluggy

Touchgraph is a graphical tool based on Google's 'Related Sites' feature, which draws relationships between different internet sites. Enter a site and watch it work. maradydd, I tried the On-Line Writing Workshop, and got all sorts of interesting connections to interesting places to explore. Requires a 5 meg Sun Java runtime download, but worth it.

Try Dancing Madly Backwards or LiveJournal itself. I'm surprised to find that LJ is actually pretty closely connected with the rest of the blogging universe, via Greymatter and Blogdex, as well as to places like uJournal and Diaryland. And look at the major connection to Sluggy Freelance!

meaning: death
死体 == shitai == corpse
水死 == suiji == drowning

Originally a pictograph a 'bare bone' on the left, 'person' on the right: i.e., a skeleton. The right radical is now 'fallen person'. Henshall suggests as a mnemonic:  'Person falls in death, soon bare bones.'
