IKU
soda(tsu), soda(teru)
meaning: raise, educate
教育 == kyouiku == education
音楽教育 == ongakukyouiku == music education

Bottom radical is 'moon/month' (月), but before that it was 'meat' (肉), and before that this character was a pictograph of a woman holding an inverted child, with drops of amniotic fluid, indicating she had just given birth. The character can still mean 'birth' in Chinese, but is chiefly used for broader sense of 'raise children', and 'educate'. Henshall suggests as a mnemonic:  'Educate child upside-down, like piece of meat.'
