Overcast in the NE US tonight. I was hoping to catch a view of some of the Lyrids, a meteor group that appears to come out of the constellation Lyra, which lies in the eastern sky, in the US.
Nice weather for meteor-watching tonight, too. I would guess temperatures are in the 50's light jacket weather. Nice to lie in a lawn chair and watch the eastern sky for 10 or 15 minutes.
But it was not to be. Bah!
